The Culinary Institute of Michigan

What started in 1997 with just 40 students and one campus has grown to become a top culinary arts college with two campuses—one each on the east and west shores of Michigan. Each is a state-of-the-art facility designed with a world-class learning experience in mind. Our award-winning chefs and instructors train students in both the art and the business of the food service industry. With personalized, hands-on instruction, our instructor-to-student ratio is the lowest of any culinary program in the state.

Both our Muskegon and Port Huron campuses are a part of the Baker College System, which puts The Culinary Institute of Michigan in a position to provide excellence, not only in its level of instruction but in available student services as well. Every CIM student has access to all of their Baker College campus amenities—from the libraries and computer labs, to campus-wide wireless connectivity (CIM included), free tutoring, and more. Students who choose to enroll at our Muskegon campus also enjoy several options of on-campus living.
